Swatches: Victoria's Secret Blush/Highlighter Duo - Backstage & Oriflame Cosmetics Blush - Fresh Pink

I won these products from Heidi Larsen. The colours are nice, but pretty average. I love the shimmer and colours in the Victoria's Secret Blush/Highlighter, but it is kind of hard to work with. The colours does not transfer easily to the brush and is not as opaque as I'd want. I used it both as a blush and highlighter in this look. The Oriflame blush however is very pigmented. I have not tested it on yet, but I really like the colour.

Swatches: Too Faced Naked Eye Soft & Sexy Eye Shadow Collection

I am in love with this palette that I won from MUA Heidi Larsen! The colours really are soft and sexy. The quality varies a lot though, some of the shades are less compact or less pigmented then the others, like Satin Sheets. This one is such a gorgeous shade, but can be hard to work with and I find it easiest to use a damped brush or a sticky base and dab the shade on.



I find the fact that this palette has both shimmery and matte shades, light and dark shades very positive. It makes it so easy to go from day to night, frankly I don't need more than this palette (yeah, right)!

theBalm Read my Lips lipstick - Letter to the editor

I think I am going to make posts like this for all my lipstick and will make a new label called "lipsticks" (daha). Still just thinking about it, but it would be a fun project for me to do. I have a lot of lipsticks.

This one I bought from Coverbrands.no and is called  Letter to the editor. I just love the design of this, it is so cute and unique like a lot of other theBalm products. The lipstick itself however is not that special. It is an average sheer, shimmery brownish red lipstick. I'm guessing it will look great with a tan in the summer because of the shimmer. I would be lieing if I said this would be for everyday use, because I don't use shimmer on my lips normally. But I could use this at parties for the times when my eyemakeup is very dark to balance it out.

Barry M Lip Paint - Green

I don't know what it is with me and colours. This is actually a very dirty green on me. I was hoping for a neon colour, but this is more forest green. Still, I love it. Does it suit me? Not really. Will I have any excuse to wear it anywhere? No. But I love it! The texture is smooth, creamy and feels moist on my lips so that is good. It is actually a great lipstick, and my Barry M Lip Paints might just be my favourites out of all the lipsticks I have (after the Gina Tricot ones, they have supernatural hold!). So I would recommend these to everyone who dares to use some extra colour.

I actually ordered a blue one and a lavender one with this, all from Coverbrands, but those two were dried out. I got great service though and they sent me two new lipsticks, but these were just the same as the original two so I sent them all back and got a refund. They where going to check their other lip paints, cause it seems as though they got a bad patch of lipsticks. I will be purchasing the blue one later on though, awesome colour!

Swatches: The Body Shop All-in-One BB-cream

Since the popular BB-cream from The Body Shop is back in stores I thought I'd show you how it looks on my skin. I have the darkest shade, 03, but can also use the medium shade, 02. Here I am using the darker shade, BB-cream 03. As some of you know the cream is white when it comes out of the tube and you have to blend it into your skin with a brush to reveal the colour. It has a light to light-medium coverage on my skin. I alsways use powders on top and that gives me medium coverage.



This cream gives a lot of moisture and is supposed to keep your skin moisturized up to 24 hours. You can use it alone like I did on the picture below, but since I have combination skin I always use a mattening powder (TBS Loose Face Powder) on top to prevent my skin getting to shiny.



The BB-cream adjusts well to my skin tone and stays put for a long time with powder on top. It is a good product and is called "Pure magic on a tube" by The Body Shops Official Makeup Artist Tore Petterson.
