Halloween Style Change #3: Scene/Punk

I wanted to do a pastel scene style look as one of my halloween style changes, but I realized that I actually need to cut and color my hair for that. And I actually would do it, but I have promised my hair away to a hairdresser friend in November. Maybe I can try again after that! I still gave the look a shot though. It turned out a bit punk I think because I found more sidecut pictures when I googled punk than scene. What do you think?

I don't remember where the t-shirt is from right now, but I think it was Carlings. If you gotta know, just ask and I'll check it out. The jeans are DrDenim, bought at Carlings and the shoes are from Disneyland. I tried a few outfits for this look before I settled for this one, I think it works!

Would you wear this?
What style do you want to see me in next?

Oh say, can you see my eyes? If you can then my hair's too short

Black Big Eye lenses from Superkul

Have you noticed my haircut? It was actually my best friend that cut it a few days before Roskilde Festival, but I have totally forgotten to show you! I am so glad I cut it shorter this summer because of the heat and I think it looks very good on me.

What do you think about the new hair?

Because we like it right now

I tried out a high bun with hair donut yesterday. It felt so weird, like I had something on my head that did not belong there. It looked okey, don't you agree? I can't help but thinking that the hair bun (or hair donut buns) is something we will look back at in a few years and ask ourselves why we did it. But then again it will be so cool a decade later. Well, I like it right now, and I need to be better at doing my hair. Here I used hair mousse AND hair spray. The last time I did that was new years eve 11/12. That is just sad! Especially because I like doing my hair. Am going to do my hair every time I go out now!

Cruelty Free Hair Colour: H&M

I, like many others, try to use only products that are cruelty free. Products where neither ingredients nor finished product are tested on animals. Some things are harder to find in cruelty free brands than others, hair colour is one of those things. Therefore I am so glad that Hennes &Mauritzs own brand is cruelty free. I have been using their hair colours for many years now and am pleased with them. Though the colour fades a little easy if you're not great with conditioning treatments, it looks natural and my hair feels smooth and moist. I have not experienced that my hair has dried up after using these products. I like H&M Hair Colours.

Do you know of any other cruelty free hair colour brands?

Even the leaves start blushing and turning red

I have been thinking about dying my hair like this for a while, and have even had the colour since December. Tonight after my boyfriend left for work I decided to do it. The colour is called Copper Red, but I didn't leave the serum in the hair for as long as I was supposed so it is not as red as on the box. I'm very pleased with the results! And newly dyied hair smells oh-so good, don't you think? I do!

Do you like the colour?
