Date night

Saturday was so much fun! Because Raven and I have been together for four years now he had a big date planned for us. The first thing he did was have me open this big gift that he'd been teasing me with for a week already. Inside it I found a gorgeous jacket that is just perfect for fall. Underneat that jacket there was a cute top and a sexy, two splitted maxi skirt. Deeper in the box lied a lovely necklace, earrings and matching underwear. The last thing in the box was an other box, a shoe box, with some amazing heels in it.

He had bought me an intire outfit, down to every single detail! A goodlooking outfit too, and almost everything fit. The jacket was the wrong size so we'll have to exchange it. But he still did so good! The intire outfit was purchased at Bubbleroom.com.

He then took me to dinner at a fancy restaurant and let me order all the sides I wanted before he took out a pair of tickets to a concert. We parked the car at a place that we could leave it over night and went to see Pagans Mind at Ibsenhuset. They serve alcohol there now, I didn't know that!

My heels were not exactly made for standing for a long time. Therefor we just found a table from which we could see the stage, bought beers and nuts and just enjoyed eachothers company and the concert from afar. After the concert we decided to go out and drink some more so we did a little bar to bar rounde and met up with some of our friends.



We don't really do stuff like that just the two of us that often so it was just perfect, Haha, and the date ended with Raven having to break us into our apartment when the taxi dropped us off because he left the keys in the car. The perfect end to a perfect date night! Raven is just amazing.

On valentines day my boyfriend gave me this cute teddy bear. I was so happy I laughed uncontrollably for about ten minutes and my eyes even teared up! Haha, so childish I know, but it was exactly what I wished for and in a perfect spooning size. So today Teddy and I stayed in bed as long as we could and tonight we'll be cuddling up all three of us. Getting in contact with our inner children!

Our vacation in Hawaii

Right now I am sitting in our new sofa in our new home. It is the first time I have opened my computer since the last time I posted, feels like forever!

Here comes some photos from when Raven and I where in beautiful Hawaii. My gosh, it really was paradise! The water was just so blue, the sun was shining almost the whole time during our stay and everything was within walking distance. We were both so relaxed, just enjoying our gorgeous surroundings.



We spent some time at the beach of course, and almost tried surfing (did not stand up on the board). But despite the fact that he found SPF 110, Raven got sunburned the first day. That didn't really matter though, because there were so many other exciting things to do!



One of the first things we did was follow the GPS to a beach that was supposed to be a nudist beach (we all have that on our bucket lists, right?). When we found it, it turned out to be just a regular beach, but with less tourists and more surfers so we stayed and watched them for a while. Wow, those guys are good!



One of the days we went to the Aquarium. There are so many beautiful creatures in the sea! I took a lot of nice photos in there that I might show you later on. This guy over here was our favorite of the sea creatures. He was so elegant and calm in the way he moved trough the water. It was very fascinating to observe him.



We also visited Honolulu Zoo. I have never been to such a big zoo before! I saw so many animals that I had never seen. I love animals. They all fascinate me!



Raven decided to go to a shooting range and try out some guns. I don't really like guns, at all, but he somehow adores them. He did good though and seemed very pleased with his own efforts. Boys will be boys.



Last time we went on a vacation Raven took his open water diving license, so we had to go diving in Hawaii! Or he did, I snorkeled. But we both saw wild turtles up close, that was such an experience. I would try not to move in the water and just watch them as long as I could. Truly amazing.



The last full day we where in Waikiki, we both got some new ink at Skin Deep Tattoo Waikiki. The difference was that mine took 1,5 hour and Ravens took 8,5 hours! As I said earlier I will post pictures of my tattoo later on (you can see it on my instagram: jeanettemarie), but I have to get some good photos of it. I just have not had time with the moving, starting school and stepping in for my boss. I am not complaining at all though, it is all for the better!

I can truly recommend Honolulu to anyone who are wondering where they are going to spend their next vacation. 
It is paradise.

Our week in Alabama (and a small update)

As some of you may know Raven and I spent a week with his brothers family in Alabama this summer. We had such a great time and hopefully it won't be long until we go back for a new visit! I'm not going to tell you that much about it (other than that we went to Point Mallard, Huntsville Botanical Garden, Space & Rocket Center and Cathedral Caverns), but I thought I'd share some pictures.



















I know that some of you have noticed how quiet it is in here these days so I thought I'd just fill you in. Well, most of my time is spent at work. In edition to my own shifts I am stepping in for my boss who is on vacation. When I am not at work I am painting walls and moving stuff from the apartment into a house that is going to be my new home. I am trying to get everything settled before I start school next week because my boss is still on vacation for an other two weeks. So hopefully I can get back to blogging normally again in two weeks time! Oh, and I am babysitting the dog. She is not much hassle, but like any other dog she needs to be walked, fed and cuddled with.

Aloha from Honolulu, Hawaii

We are having such a great time in the paradise that Hawaii is. It is just so beautiful, and so hot! It's perfect. We have already done the shopping, the hiking, the tanning and even went to the zoo yesterday. Tonight we are going to do some clubbing, and in the next few days we are going snorkelling/diving, trying out surfing and maybe getting some new ink.

Right now there is actually a storm out here so it has been raining all day, and is supposed to continue raining tomorrow. It didn't matter to us because we where going shopping anyways. But tomorrow we are thinking about trying to surf. It is still hot when it is raining so it wouldn't be a problem, but I don't feel confident enough to try on any big waves at all. tomorrow will show!

I can't wait to show you all what I bought today and what my boyfriend bought me! But you'll have to wait 'til I get home, and I am not rushing that right now. So little time, so much to do!

Good morning, Alabama!

 Around this time yesterday we arrived at Ravens brothers house where we will stay for one week. It is so nice to finally be here after a long trip with waiting, flying and driving. The driving was kind of fun though because we saw a little bit of what this country has to offer. During the drive we could both agree that it was all very American, and after arriving at the house that impression just grew. But of course it does, we are in America, and we love it!

I'll share some more later on, right now I have to figure out what we are going to do today and get my boyfriend out of bed. I need coffee.

Yesterday was so much fun! I went shopping with my mom and sister during the day and spent the night drinking daiquiris with one of my best friends. Today Raven and I leave for America so I don't know how much I will be blogging the next couple of weeks. Wow, summer and vacation is really not good for my blogging, but man it is fun! I will be taking lots of pictures and I will be buying lots of stuff in Hawaii so I'm sure I'll have plenty of stuff to tell you and show you when I get back.

Now I have to go take a shower so I can get the last of my necessities into to suitcase. I am still dreading
that I have to say goodbye to the gorgeous dog that we have been living with the past week so when all packing is done I am going to spend my last hours in Norway cuddling with that cutie!

Roskilde Wedding of Christine & Øystein

This years Roskilde Festival was very special because I got to go to a wedding on the Orange Stage! It was a perfect festival wedding. The grooms short sleeve shirt and orange tie, the brides dress, hair and shoes fit perfectly. She looked so gorgeous and they both looked so happy. The ceremony was held on the Orange Stage and then we had champagne and strawberries backstage, and drinks at Gringo Bar. The fact that we where on that stage was off course the highlight of the day. It will never be the same looking up on all the stars like Rihanna, Metallica and so on performing there, knowing I too have been on that stage.

"Thøger sin"

I have totally forgotten to show you this hooded dress that my boyfriend had costume made for me a while back! On the back it says "Thøger sin" which basically means I'm his and in the front it says "We are fate". I have no idea where he bought it, but as you can see there is some kind of logo on the back.

My little sister is now 19 years old. We celebrated on Sunday with a big gathering of family members, lots of great food, smiles and the sun was shining all day!







Now my birthday is coming up soon!

Between heartbeats

Finally we have some serious summer weather! Lately I have been wearing short shorts and bikini tops almost every day. This outfit is from Saturday the 18th. The picture is taken in beautiful Risør at Ravens parents cottage. It was such a perfect day that started with breakfast on the piers in Skien, then lunch at our favorite café, dinner in the sunset on a porch in Risør and ended on the sofa at home with Eurovision on the tv. I didn't like Denmarks winning song that much though. But Margaret Bergers I feed you my love have been played several times on my Spotify the last week! Who were you cheering for?

Naked Sunday

The weather was so nice today that Raven and I decided to drive out to a small island for a walk. We even borrowed the cute dog we have been babysitting. It was so nice and so much fun! We agreed that we have to come back here and barbeque or just bring a picnic basket next time the weather is nice and we have the time. It was so hot we could actually tan, but that was boring for the dog. I took a lot of nice pictures that I'll show you later. Raven insisted on taking a naking-photo too, haha. We are cute.

Connect Respect Protect

Yesterday Raven decided to take a drop in session with the tattoo artist that tattooed my little kitten. He already had several tattooes, but yesterday he added writing on his chest.

I've had such a great and busy day at work today! On days like this it is fun to be at work and I have lots of energy at the end of my shift. The days goes by so much faster when there are many people in the store to shop so I have all the amazing customers to thank! I also have to thank the beautiful Ezra who has helped me with my assignment in the Makeup Expert Program and been a model for me two times now. You are an angel! Right now it is Paradise Hotel with my boyfriend in the sofa. He has easter break this week so he has cleaned the appartment today, such a good boy. Hihi.

Smiles on the Ice

I had so much fun on the ice today! I haven't gone ice skating in over 4 years I think so it was nice to see that I could still balance on the blades. My cousin (and childhood friend) and her houseband came along with their son and my boyfriends bestfriend showed up with his son. These are friends we do not see that often so it was very nice to spend some time with them.







Now my boyfriend and I are oh-so tired we are going to take a power nap. Ice skating is really exhausting! Have a great evening!

Diamond from my valentine

Okey, I have decided to blog in english from now on, yaay! Or at least try it out and see how you guys respond to it. It's kinda exciting, I'm excited, are you excited?

As some of you know my boyfriend and I did not get to celebrate Valentines Day together because he was in Oslo at the time. But I made him muffins when he came home and he bought me a little gift. A necklace with a small diamond on it because he, like so many other men, believes diamonds are a girls best friend. The diamond is right above the pink stone. He is so cute my boyfriend. I love you.
