Forever Beauty

It has been such an exciting start to the year!

But to tell you about it I have to start with November last year. Siri and I spontaneously went to a home party one day after work. This is where I was first introduced to Forever Living Products. That night was about the bestselling Aloe Vera products, and we also got to know a little about the business. I was already interested after that night, but it was when I saw that they had makeup products that I became really interested. I had been looking for a makeup store or distributor to cooperate with because I am doing makeup for photo shoots, and now I found an opportunity to become a distributor myself! But off course I had to try the makeup first, and I was so positively surprised! The quality is so good, the products are aloe vera based, cruelty free, kosher and halal. They are just amazing! To really test these products I brought the entire Flawless by Sonya makeup range to the studio and did an awesome pin up shoot! Leo came along too, he's so photogenic.

So in December last year I registered and joined the Forever family. It helped a lot that month because I saved so much on the Christmas gifts! But it was in January I decided to become a Forever Living Business Owner, and I am loving it! It is giving me the opportunity to work with my passion, makeup, and to develop within spa and skin care (I am a spa - and skin care therapist). It also gives me the opportunity to choose where I want to work, when I want to work and who I want to work with, not only in Norway, but in 160 countries world wide! With some hard work and patience Forever will also give me financial freedom, time to do all the things I have ever dreamed of doing and time to be with my loved ones, not to mention all the friends I am making and going to make through this business!

I am truly thankful for have been given this opportunity, and I will share my adventure with you guys here on my blog! But don't worry, this is still going to be a beauty blog. Sneak Peak on a Photoshoot: Leo

Photographer Tore Hansen had been asking me to do a photoshoot with him for over a year and this weekend we finally agreed on a time. We decided to do a simple portrait shoot so I brought my little family along. We had a lot of fun and Leo did so good! It feels great to have some studio photos of him while he is still a puppy. I'll show you some more of the photos when I get them!



Right now I'm watching the MTV EMA while Leo is sleeping on my legs. What did you think of Nicki Minaj performance and her as a host? I kinda love her.

The start of something new

Last week my computer died and so much has happened since then! This one thing I have actually wanted to tell you for a while, but I wanted to wait until last Friday when we got our keys. Keys to our house. The house that Raven and I bought. The house that we now own. OUR HOUSE! I am so excited, we both are. Can't wait to move in, to decorate every single room and to puppy proof them.

Yes, puppy proof! Because on saturday Raven and I went to choose a Jack Russel Terrier puppy that will be joining us in our house by the end of the month. He is the cutest thing, you are all going to love him. Now we have to try to agree on a name for our little baby. And of course try to agree on the decorations in our house. The house that we own. That's awesome!

Oh, and I have a new computer now.

For months, maybe years, Raven has been talking about how I should do a artistic nude photo shoot. He was thinking about a real studio shoot with a professional photographer, but on Sunday the two of us decided to do a fun little shoot in the woods. We didn't travel that far so we knew that there was always a chance of someone seeing us which made the shoot feel like a mission to not get "caught". Other then that it was very relaxed and lots of fun!

This was a different kind of makeup look for me, I have only done crazy on myself. But the shoot was so much fun, and the pictures did turn out pretty awesome!

Tfp Photoshoot at a beautiful beach in Langesund

On Tuesday I got to do makeup for an tfp-photoshoot. It was so much fun, and the pictures I've seen are so beautiful! I took a lot of behind the scenes photos and I'll show you some. I might even post more later because they also turned out pretty cool. I love how the pictures I took show the photographers many different positions under a shoot so I made it my mission to catch them under the shoot.



I am so grateful that Angie, the model, asked me to join them on this shoot. She is such a fun person, great model and stylist. She did all the styling herself and all the planning. You can find her facebook page here.

What do you think about the photos?

Waiting as my heart drops

It is still snowing like crazy here. Bah. On days like this I would usually stay in and do some makeup looks, swatches, just hang out in my makeup room and organize or take out my camera and shoot, but today I am not motivated for that at all. My skin is just so blemished right now and it has been since monday. I curse all the candy I ate on saturday and sunday!

So this week I have been drinking lots of water and exercised every day, and that is huge considering I am so lazy I usually just exercise two - three times a month. But after looking at so many bikinis, dresses and summer clothes (on extremely fit people) I do get a little affected. I guess it's a good thing though, because it does motivate me to work out! So I'm going to work out today too and then maybe show you some new buys I did last week. I have been browsing webshops all morning too and I'll show you some amazing leggings later on that will be mine when my salery ticks in!

Pretty Portrait

When I got this photo I just couldn't stop staring at it! Haha, that made me sound like such a weirdo who is in love with myself or something.. It is just so awesome, especially the reflections in the eyes and how the colour matches my hair perfectly. And you can clearly see the different shading in the hair. I am blown away by this image (I know, weirdo..), but I kind off don't think it looks like me even though it does. I have got to stop staring now and go work out instead. Haha.

Today I finally got the photos from the colourshoot I had in january. I had so much fun on this shoot! The photographer, Jimmy Karlsen, sent me a lot of photos so I decided to split them up in different posts. I did the hair, makeup and styling myself. I did an okey job, no?
